Modern Cottage
Old-school charm, sharpened for modern living.
This five-room resale home takes cues from traditional cottage interiors without becoming nostalgic.
Shaker-style carpentry, warm timber, darker hardware and structured detailing bring character, balanced against cleaner contemporary lines.
Antique-inspired touches sit alongside practical built-ins and modern functionality, producing a home with a slightly masculine edge that still feels relaxed and welcoming.
( A design thought )
“A reference can guide the feeling without becoming a costume.”
Cottage details bring familiarity; clean lines and practical storage keep the home rooted in the present.
